Annual or Seasonal? Short-term or Just Visiting?

We have flexible packages to suit most requirements including annual moorings, seasonal mooring only arrangements for owners wishing to winter away and an annual package for owners wishing to book their mooring and winter storage with us.

G pontoon

Visitors are always welcome and we can usually accomodate vessels overnight during the season if you want to explore the shoreline or visit the local attractions. You may like to simply come ashore, stretch your legs, freshen-up and round the day off with a barbecue in our foreshore picnic area.

Pontoons

Our deepwater pontoons are suitable for yachts up to 40ft and run alongside the main fairway channel in the tranquil, upper reaches of the harbour. The berths are accessed from the shore by dinghy at most states of the tide. Dinghies can be kept free of charge at the end of the jetty and during the sailing season we run a ferry service at peak times to assist with kit and crew. Power and water are not currently available on the deepwater pontoons but water tanks can be filled alongside the main dinghy pontoon around highwater. The pontoons are ideal for owners who prefer to motor on and off the mooring without the hassle of tight manoevering in and out of marina berths, just slip your lines and away.

Deepwater Swinging Moorings

swinging

For those owners who prefer a more traditional swinging mooring we have a number of super deepwater moorings to suit vessels up to 36ft although availability for those between 32ft and 36ft are limited.

The swinging moorings continue to be a popular choice because of the simplicity of picking-up and leaving the mooring, as well as the changing scenery and tendency to lie with the prevailing weather.

For those who prefer a mooring away from the main, we have a number of deepwater swinging moorings downstream which offer fine, uninterrupted views of the harbour and are a little closer to the open sea. An outboard and rigid tender are recommended for access to the downstream moorings although the ferryman does service them at peak times during the sailing season.

Tidal Moorings

orthops

We have a number of tidal swinging moorings which are ideal for lifting/drop keel yachts and bilge keel vessels. Access to the moorings varies but the majority are accessible approximately 5 hours before, to 3 hours after highwater.

We also have a limited number of tidal berths alongside the jetty and the main dinghy pontoon which are suitable for larger vessels when they are available. These berths have access to water and electric and may suit a more permanent berthing arrangement.

I made a deliberate choice to come to Wicormarine on the basis of a well-managed facility with thoughtful, polite, and friendly co-berth holders. — Ateya IV
